Medicare Open Enrollment is now open! For the fall of 2017, the annual election period (AEP) will be from October 15th to December 30th in the Central Florida area (the deadline has been pushed back from December 7th due to Hurricane Irma).
There are many things that you will be able to do during this period, including switching from one Medicare Advantage plan to another, enroll in a Medicare Part D Plan, switch from Medicare to Medicare Advantage (or vice versa), and a few other things as well. As a whole, the human race is impatient. We all prefer instant gratification to waiting forever in order to get something we want.
